Who are we?

Creative Nails by Loz was Established in 2016 as a home-based salon. Laura branched into the world of Press-on Nails following the pandemic with her brand name of 'Xami Press-on Nails which is the combination of her young children's names. Thriving off the joy that her nails give others she takes pride in her work, ensuring details are on point and finished to her satisfaction (even if this means spending more time on them than planned!).

What do we do?

Xami Press-on Nails are hand painted press-on nails (pre-made extensions) designed with a range of art methods, using glitters, gels and gel polishes. All the detail you see is created by hand in Cornwall, UK. Xami Press-on Nails can be applied however you choose. They come with complementary adhesive tabs for re-use, but if you choose to use glue please be mindful of any allergies you may have and damage this could cause to your natural nails and the press-on's we make. 

Who are they for?

These are perfect for anyone of any age or lifestyle, perfect for anyone with school/work commitments that prevent the wearing of nails on-duty. They can be applied on-the-go and removed quickly. You can wear them for a few hours/days to weeks/months (with a re-application of the odd nail here and there). They are certainly more convenient for those 'on-the-go' or who can-not sit for long periods in a salon and perfect for those working in healthcare and catering that still want nails during their 'Off-duty'.

How long do they last?

The actual nails can last you months or longer with care, much like jewellery. Using adhesive tabs  you stick the tabs to your nails, press on and then peel/roll off after use. They do not tend to 'pop off', instead if one 'loosens' you have plenty of time to take if off & reapply instantly. I keep the tabs in my phone case, just in case. They are gentle on your natural nails and can be re-used another day!

Delivery?

We use a combination of EVRI and Royal Mail for all deliveries to ensure you get the fast delivery you need. Please allow 1-2 weeks for us to create your nails, but let us know if you require your nails by a certain date and we will always do our best to meet your deadline. We cannot be held responsible for delays once they have left us. Local collection/pick up is also available to anyone living in Launceston and the surrounding area.

Plain - No Art

Basic - £1 - One basic design created with glitter, gel polish - Usually a small embellishment, touch of glitter or foil, glitter fade, simple dots, stripes or simple shape.

Technical - £2 - Two basic techniques, 3D Gel, patterns, Stamping, Pigments, French, Ombre and Bubble Art

Mixed Techniques - £3 -Three basic techniques or specialist techniques.

Advanced - £4 - Four or more basic techniques or specialist Master techniques.

• £1.50 - Individual Nails - Colour/glitter gel Base - We may not be able to match your previous nails exactly as they are handmade, we advise you to order two replacements rather than one to ensure each hand matches.

Why not buy a plain/base set and add to it as your collection grows. I offer individual nails, so you can order a couple of new accent nails for different occasions!! OR Purchase a Custom Combi Box by adding a base/plain set to your Custom Set of 10 designed nails for just £5 (You choose the sizes, designs and colours). This means you can change up you manicure look as often as you like.

Look out for our 'SEASONAL DESIGN OFFERS' which change up every couple of months to reflect main UK dates/celebrations. • Custom Measurements

Please contact us with your individual nail measurements or add to the comment/personalisation box when ordering, along with any amendments you require.

There are currently two options for sizing:-

1.You can use sticky tape to measure the width of your nails (Widest part - normally 1/3 up the nail) and lay against a ruler to obtain the 'mm' - I have created a video to help you with this if you need to see it. From here I can determine your nail size.

2. You can also request a sizing kit for FREE (1 of every size nail in your chosen shape) so you can 'try on' for size and let me know which nails fit which fingers. This will be sent via standard postage so bare this in mind if you need your nails by a certain date and allow time for this.

• DISCLOSURE

There may be slight variations in the finished nails colours and designs to that shown in the pictures due to the handmade nature of creating these nails and differences in products used, camera and lighting variations. 

• CANCELLATION & RETURNS 

For hygienic reasons and custom nature of creating nails made to order, we cannot take returns or allow cancellations after we receive the order. Please ensure you check your order thoroughly before completing a purchase.
