SovietRussian drama of the 1980s and 1990s has been generally ignored by the Western literary establishment. The playwright Nina Sadur occupies a prominent place in the literary pantheon of the period. The plays included in this volume offer some of Sadurs most influential works for the theatre to the Englishspeaking audience for the first time.
